Amsterdam is a city of canals – 165 of them, more than 100 kilometres long, and here is your chance to discover some of them while getting to know the landmarks and the history of this amazing city. The canals of Amsterdam are part of the UNESCO World Heritage because of their significance as a masterpiece of hydraulic engineering and town planning that was carried out in the late 16th and early 17th century.
A pleasant, relaxed sightseeing tour on the most beautiful parts of the canals of Amsterdam.

Afternoon on the canals – boat tour on the 20th of June, at 3 pm.
During the 3-hour tour you will see important buildings as you cruise along the Amstel river and navigate parts of the canal belt (Herengracht and Prinsengracht). You will see the Heineken Museum building and Anne Frank’s house as you seamlessly travel along the city’s waterways. You will pass by the man-made island of Prinseneiland, the Artis Zoo and get to know the Western part of the city. Your expert captain will talk about the history of the city and share interesting details of life in Amsterdam.

The minimum and maximum number of participants on this tour is 10.

What is included?
- 3 hours cruise with the captain as your guide
- a welcome drink and snacks on board including a small selection of cheese
- pick-up in central Amsterdam / TBA: Option for pick-up at Moxy Hotel – add an extra 30 minutes.

What is not included?

Morning boat tour on the canals – on the 21st of June at 9am.
During the 2 and a half-hour tour you will see important buildings as you cruise along the Amstel river and navigate parts of the canal belt (Herengracht and Prinsengracht). NOTES for all tours
You’ll want to bring your camera, your ID (or a copy of it) and some money for extra drinks that are not included.
The boat has a covered part and a part that is open. We expect nice weather, as the summers in Amsterdam are usually dry and warm. In case of rain, the tour still will be running and umbrellas will be provided during the cruise or bring your raincoat if the weather forecast will say it will be needed.
BOOKING and CANCELLATION POLICY
Full payment required at the time of booking. The participation fee is refundable until the 15th of May, 2024 with a deduction of EUR 20.00 administration fee and any bank fees that might occur. All cancellations must be in writing. After the 15th of May, 2024 the participation fee is not refundable.
